Wherein Pepi proves his proficiency as TreeFight’s first citizen scientist, testing presence/absence of squirrel populations in the Winds and the southern Absarokas.

This 19 minute film documents TreeFight’s exciting first year. Included in the United Nations International Year of Forests Film Festival, Seeing Red was partially funded by prize money that David Gonzales won in the inaugural State of Wyoming Short Film Festival in 2008. Thanks to all the treefighters who helped make this film happen!
Late this summer, US State Department filmmaker Brandon Bloch caught wind of TreeFight, and decided to come out to Jackson Hole and create a video. It’s the first in a series of videos the State Department is producing on the subject of climate change. Pretty sweet, huh? And not something you’d expect from the gubmint. Check out Brandon’s personal Vimeo page, too. He’s produced a lot of quality stuff.
